Gruveo Embed API Graduates from Beta on August 14

Gruveo Embed API graduates from beta

We are happy to announce that our Embed API, initially announced in late 2015, is graduating from beta on August 14, 2017

What does this mean for you? If you have been using the Gruveo Embed API since its early beta days and you only have an API secret without a client ID, read on. If you already have a client ID, then this announcement doesn't change anything for you.

So, let's get back to the first group of the Gruveo Embed API users. As we've already mentioned, if you have access to the Gruveo API using only an API secret (without a corresponding client ID), things are going to change for you.

First, you need to contact our Sales team as soon as possible. They will provide you with a client ID and a new API secret that will ensure your continued access to the API.

Second, you will need to update your code to use the current API authentication scheme. Please see Accessing Extended Mode in the developer documentation for details.

So, again, if you don't have a client ID and want to use the Embed API beyond August 14, make sure to request your API client ID as soon as possible!
