Gruveo users can set their availability with status indicators such as "online", "away" and "offline". The availability status defines whether the user is currently able to answer incoming calls on permanent Gruveo links assigned to them. It also defines how the user is notified about the calls.
The following availability options are available:
- Online - The user receives a notification for each incoming call on the permanent links assigned to them, and is able to answer the calls.
- Away - The user is temporarily unavailable. They do not receive notifications about incoming calls, but callers are still placed in the call queue. In the Gruveo web UI, the user can see how many callers there are in their queue at any given moment.
- Offline - The user does not receive notifications about incoming calls, which is similar to the user being completely logged out of Gruveo. If there are no other users on a permanent link, any calls on this link will fail with the "User is currently unavailable" message.

Setting of the Availability Status
To set your availability status:
- Log into your account on the Gruveo website.
- Click your name in the upper right corner.
- In the drop-down menu that opens, click "Set yourself as online", "Set yourself as away" or "Set yourself as offline".
- Gruveo will immediately update your availability status.

At the moment, setting of the availability status is only supported in the Gruveo web UI. However, the status you set still applies to the Gruveo iOS and Android apps where you are logged in.
Availability Status and Calls in Call Rooms
The availability status feature only applies to the user's ability to receive calls on permanent Gruveo links. No matter what a user's current availability is, they are always able to organize and/or join calls in Gruveo call rooms.
